Bill Wilson, iPhone Development
Bill Wilson

Bill Wilson is the principal consultant for MindSea. Since the mid ’90s, Bill has worked on projects ranging from aerospace to instant messaging software. Most recently, he has dove into the world of Mac and iPhone software, with a focus on community-based projects that has brought him on board Halifax’s Apps4Good initiative. Wilson is mindful of team dynamics, iterative development and constant improvement. He brings experience in the entire project life cycle to his management role, including business analysis, project management and delivery. Wilson, who when not creating software can be found building and flying kites, lives and works in Halifax, NS.

Chris Dail, Java Jumpstart for Developers, Groovy & Dynamic JVM

Chris Dail (chrisdail.com) is a seasoned Senior Software Architect currently employed at iWave Software. An enthusiastic and dynamic speaker and technology leader, Chris’ career started at Whitehill Technologies, then Skywire Software, and finally his current position at iWave Software. Chris balances his work life with his wife Amy and 2 year old son Peter.

Darryl Dutton is a senior software architect within the T4G. He has over 17 years experience in the design and delivery of software applications across a variety of industries including the retail, insurance, manufacturing, financial, and government sectors in Canada, US and the middle east. Darryl specializes in application design with primary focus Microsoft technologies and has experience in large enterprise integration and development projects. Currently living in Halifax, he enjoys traveling the world and masters swimming.

Donald Belcham Donald Belcham is just another developer trying to be as productive, professional, and client-focused as possible. He is also the co-author of Brownfield Application Development in .Net (from Manning Publications).

Jesse Rusak

Jesse has a CS degree from Dal, and has worked on software to read minds, simulate explosions, criticize dance moves and make buttons go "squish." He currently spends most of his time working on iPhone and iPad apps for MindSea.

Josh Merchant, A Gem of a Ruby Intro
Josh Merchant

Josh Merchant is the co-founder and CTO of Lymbix Inc. Josh is the driving force and visionary behind the connotative intelligence technology at Lymbix. His focus is on all the technical aspects of the business, including systems management, integration, and support. He is widely recognized in the ICT community for his hands-on leadership style and his specialization in Ruby on Rails. Prior to Lymbix, he led the Ruby on Rails practice at Spheric Technologies Inc, overseeing the development team and more than doubling the size of the practice in one year. Josh holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.

Mike has extensive experience leading application development within a diverse range of industries and with a wide range of technology stacks. Ron Smith, Building Rockstar Estimating Skills
Ron Smith

Ron is a PMI certified project manager and the Director of Development at Mariner Partners where he also consults as a project manager. Ron is the president (and founder) of the Maritimes Java User Group and a past board member of PMI-NB. He has a bachelors degree in computer science and business. He typically runs infrastructure, software development, marketing and business projects.
